Yes, The J-Man was Jewish.
No, He Is Not The Messiah
by Kimberly Davis
According to Torah in Deuteronomy 13:5-6 and Deuteronomy 17:2-7, the Jewish people are commanded to investigate claims of worship to false gods amongst our own people. If such claims are proven to be true according to Torah, the false prophet, god, and worshippers of such gods and false prophets are to be "taken into a public place, and stoned to death." Thus, I provide this one stone to proclaim the truth about the false claims about the messiahship of the J-man.
Since these mitzvot of Deuteronomy should not be performed on the account of one witness, but two or more, I call as my "second witness" Rabbi Tovia Singer of Outreach Judaism. While I have no connection to Rav Singer's work, providence lead me to find his work. Rav Singer is an ordained Rabbi, whose testimony and teachings about the truths regarding J-man are a necessary authoritative light unto the Jewish community and the world.
Walking in the church system has allowed me to gain a strong understanding of what the beliefs are amongst many of the denominations in the church system. Such an understanding has allowed me to be able to cut through the lies quickly and find a firm foundation in Judaism, which is built on Hashem's Torah and Tanakh.
From the Tanakh, it is clear that Hashem will never change His Torah for anyone. There is one law for all peoples on earth. That Law is Torah (Exodus 12:49, Leviticus 24:22, Numbers 15:15-16). It is by keeping Torah that all blessing comes to the earth. As such, If ANYONE seeks blessing, salvation, redemption, forgiveness, and/or protection, they must keep Torah. A non-native Jewish person (often called a gentile) may unite themselves to Hashem by keeping His Torah, and thus open the door to all blessings that are promised to the Jewish people in the Tanakh and Torah (Ezekiel 12:48-49; Isaiah 56:6-7; Zechariah 8:20-23).
Since Hashem's Torah will never change, we know that the Torah has been, is, and forever will be true. Too, we know that Hashem will never break His own Torah, especially in sending Moshiach who will restore eternal peace to the world.
When Moshiach comes (may it be today!) complete peace will come to the earth because everyone will know Hashem as the One True G-d and will follow His Torah (Habakkuk 2:14). Following Torah brings peace on earth because Hashem's Torah is not merely a list of "to do's" and "to don'ts". Each mitzvot is an eternal covenant, which Hashem has made with His Jewish people. Like a marriage contract, the mitzvot are individual promises. If kept, they are the key to receiving blessing and eternal life (Genesis 12:1-3; Deuteronomy 7, 11, 27).
In the church system, it is taught that the J-man was sinless, that he fulfilled the Torah and the Tanakh perfectly on everyone's behalf, and that by believing in him (his death) you can become saved, forgiven, and be given eternal life. Unfortunately, however, if we compare the J-man's life, tactics of "salvation," and even his ministry works, we can see that he or his deeds break do not fulfill Torah, but rather break Torah and the mitzvot time and time again.
The following list is composed of some of the most commonly known tenants and beliefs within the church system. By providing references from the Tanakh and Torah, the truth will be revealed about the J-man and his ministry and their breaking of Torah and the Tanakh. As new information is discovered in my studies of the Torah or Tanakh, the list will be updated.
I do not share this information with malicious intent. Rather, I share this information out of great concern, especially for my fellow Jewish brethren who might be trapped in the system that has as its core the theology that necessitates the extinguishing of us Jews. Much like Ester and Moses, I write this as a warning and a plea: "Beware, they are trying to kill the Jews! Please, let my people go!"
Form and Personhood
The church claims the J-man is "fully human and fully G-d," meaning he is Hashem and also a man.
Deuteronomy 4 declares that Hashem has NO form and that any god that has a form (be it of animal, human, or anything in nature) is a false god and is not the god of the Jews.
Hashem says He has given such false gods to other nations, but not to the Jew. So "it may be for you, but it is not for the Jew."
In Genesis, Hashem makes clear that He made man in His image, but not in His likeness. This means that no man will ever be G-d in the truest sense of the word. Instead, humans can only come as servants, workers, or mouthpieces for Hashem.
Think Moshe, whom Hashem made "like G-d to Pharaoh". But, even Moshe was not considered G-d.
The church claims that god is one, but has 3 forms and therefore three names and tree personhoods: the father, the son, the holy spirit.
The One True G-d, the G-d of Israel has a single existence, as such, a single name.
His name is The Tetragram, which is too holy to say out loud and thus cannot even be pronounced.
The one name of G-d is Hashem: "The Name".
Names the J-Man Gave to Himself Out of Context
The Fountain of Living Water
Is spoken of about Hashem, not the Moshiach (Jeremiah 2:11-13).
The Only Begotten Son of Hashem
Hashem declares that Israel (the Jewish people and Jewish nation), not even Moshiach, is His first born son. Samuel is His second (Exodus 4:22, 2 Samuel 7:14).
This name given to J-man fuels much antisemitism within the church system, as many take this to mean that the church and believers in J-man have literally (not figuratively) replaced the Jewish people as Hashem's "chosen people".
Within the church it is not uncommon to hear people say that they "support Israel," but this can often refer to the church as Israel, not the Jewish nation.
This theology is categorically NOT TRUE. And is (arguably) a form of antisemitism, since at its core, such a Replacement Theology demands that Israel (the Jewish Nation) cease to exist and be replaced by israel (the Church-State/Nation), mush as was the attempt in the Roman Crusades.
This belief breaks Torah and the Tanakh in too many ways to properly write here. But, for an example of the truth about what Hashem says about Israel (the Jewish Nation and people), see the portion of scripture at the bottom of this post.
The Bread of Life
The Jewish people are the firstfruits of Hashem's field and harvest, not the J-man (Jeremiah 2:3).
According to Torah marrying outside of the priest disqualifies Mary from eating the food sacrificed on the altar of Hashem (the priest's portion).
Since Mary could not eat the holy food, her womb certainly could not make such "food" either.
In the church, congregants are to eat the flesh and drink the blood of the J-man in communion.
Torah explicitly prohibits the drinking or eating of blood (Genesis 9:4, Leviticus 19:26, Deuteronomy 12:23).
The Light of the World
Israel (the Jewish people and Jewish nation) is the light unto the nations (Isaiah 42:6), not Moshiach in general, or J-man specifically.
Hashem's presence, not even Moshiach's, is the light by which all nations will walk and by which the entire earth is filled with glory (Psalm 89:15).
The Passover Lamb
It is common among churches to teach that the J-man was the final Passover Lamb Sacrifice.
This is problematic beyond words--A dead Jew is completely contradictory to the Passover and the miracles of the Exodus, which ensued after Hashem commanded the first Passover Sacrifice.
The Passover blood marks the homes for life, not death.
This life was for every member of the Jewish community trapped under the harsh slavery of Egypt for 400 years.
Death, however, was proscribed for the "first born son of Egypt"
On Pesach, J-man died...
The Passover sacrifice had, and has, nothing to do with sin.
The offering was male, not female. Only female lambs (or goats) are offered as sin sacrifices when the Temple stands (may it be rebuilt quickly in our days!).
The passover offering was offered in a manner similar to the daily burnt offering (with unleavened bread and strong libations) that would be instated later, as an eternal covenant between Hashem and his people.
The Word of Hashem Made Flesh
In the churches, it is taught that the name "The Word Made Flesh" means that the J-man perfectly fulfilled Torah and all of the Tanakh. As is shown here, this is categorically not true.
Unfortunately, if one carefully ,studies the Tanakh and Torah, the only parts of Hashem's scriptures that were "made flesh" (or fulfilled) in the J-man are the parts that amount to the "Abomination that causes desolation."
The Lamb of Hashem, who Takes Away The Sins of the World (see below)
Work of Supposed Final Sacrifice & Salvation
The church claims that the J-man is the "lamb of G-d who takes away the sins of the world."
This is an issue, because the J-man is human, not an animal.
Hashem does not accept humans as sacrifices for sins, as other gods do. Rather, since all humans are made in Hashem's image, the death of a human necessitates an atonement (animal sacrifice), and thus will never be an atonement (let alone a final atonement).
Leviticus 4:28 states, that the official sin offering is to be a female goat or sheep without blemish.
The J-man was male.
The offering is to be without blemish.
At the time of the J-man's death (when the supposed final sacrifice was made), he was evidently bloody, beaten, and full of wounds.
These blemishes alone disqualify him as a sacrifice.
The notion of one person, a Jew, dying for the sins of every person on earth is also against Torah.
Ezekiel 18:20 declares that it is the person who sins that will die. Not even a son will die for his father or a father for his son.
Everyone will die for their own sins.
Further, every person who is righteous (keeps Torah) will be righteous in their own merit, not by the merit of anyone else.
All blessing on earth was promised to come from the Jewish descendants of Abram (Genesis 1:1-3). If you kill even a single Jew, blessing is removed from earth, not added to it.
End of Animal Sacrifices:
If the J-man really is the final sacrifice and no other sacrifice is needed, then the entire animal sacrificial system of Hashem will be cut off forever, not just for a time while Hashem's Temple lays in ruins. This is actually the common teaching within the church system: that because the J-man died, no other sacrifice is needed and no person has to keep Torah because J-man did it for them.
While this may sound like excellent news, it is actually really bad news with regards a Moshiach figure. For, desolation of the temple and taking away animal sacrifices are two specific marks denoted for the "Abomination that causes desolation". (Daniel 9:26-27).
Further, taking away the animal sacrifices would put an end to Hashem's system for forgiveness, so it does no good in terms of salvation, redemption, and righteousness. Therefore, without the animal sacrifices, NO ONE (Jew or gentile) can have any form of forgiveness. Remember, there is one Law. Torah.
Destruction of The Holy Temple:
The coming of J-man brought the destruction of the Jewish Temple and removal of sacrifices.
When the real Moshiach comes, the Temple will be rebuilt.
The Ministry of the J-Man:
The disciples of the J-man are called fishermen.
This is problematic in terms of salvation, since in all of the Tanakh, the only people who are ever promised to be called fishermen are those who will be sent out from Babylon to destroy the Jewish people (Jeremiah 16:16). These fishermen are foretold to then bring hunters of Babylon, which can be seen as the Jehad-based religions, who have as a mission to openly hunt down and kill every last Jew on earth.
Babylon, however, will be eternally cut off after she is allowed (for a time) to be used as a battering ram against the Jewish people. Then after paying double for our sins (can anyone say accountability for your own actions?), then Assyria and Judah will rise up and put an eternal end to Babylon (Isaiah 13, 34, Jeremiah 50:39-40; Jeremiah 51:29).
The other instance fisherman are mentioned in the Tanakh is in Ezekiel. The fishermen mentioned here go out and catch an unending amount of fish after Moshiach has arrived.
This is not fulfilled in the miracle of fish caught by J-man's disciples.
The disciples' fish were caught in the Galilee, not the Dead Sea (which when the real Moshiach comes will be turned into fresh water).
The Dead Sea was not made fresh.
There was no stream flowing from The Temple.
Trees producing unending supplies of fruit were not present.
At the end of one of the gospels, there is a Great Commission given to the disciples of the J-man. This great commission commands all of the disciples to leave Jerusalem, go out from Israel, and roam throughout the entire world in order to spread the message of "the gospel" and the J-man. In essence, the great commission calls for the exile of Jews.
When the real Moshiach comes, however, Hashem in His Tanakh declares that He will GATHER everyone who belongs to Hashem (the Jewish people) to Jerusalem and they will NEVER leave the land of Israel again (Isaiah 60 + others).
In the church, the J-man is called "the King of kings," "lord of Lords," AND "the Great High Priest".
This dual position is problematic because in the Jewish nation, a King cannot be a priest and a priest cannot be a king. Nor can a king enter the temple.
To see the sins and rebukes this brings, look at the story of king Saul when he tried to offer the sacrifices of Hashem because Samuel took too long for his liking (1 Samuel 13).
The J-man is disqualified as a priest because he has scars, as is declared of the J-man by the church scriptures when he 'arose from the grave'.
According to Torah, any blemish disqualifies a priest from entering the Temple and especially the Holy of Holies (Leviticus 21:18).
The J-man cannot hold the office of the priesthood because of his mother Mary.
The church scriptures say that though Mary was born in the line of the Levites, she married Joseph, who was in the line of the Kings.
According to Torah marrying outside of the priest disqualifies Mary from eating the food sacrificed on the altar of Hashem (the priest's portion)
The church scriptures say that the congregants "eat of J-man's flesh and drink the J-man's blood." Since Mary could not eat the food, her womb could not make such "food" either.
The church scriptures say that Hashem was the father of the J-man, not Joseph.
The notion of Hashem impregnating Mary is wrong on so many levels of Torah.
This would necessitate Hashem, the Heavenly Father of all on earth, to "uncover the nakedness" of His daughter, which is against Torah.
The relation between Hashem and Mary would defile Mary because she was betrothed to Joseph at the time, which violates Torah (Leviticus 21:9) and would make Mary an adulteress.
If Joseph was not the father, then J-man did NOT descend from the line of David, which disqualifies the J-man as Moshiach. For, Moshiach will come from the line of David (2 Samuel 7:12-13; Jeremiah 23:5).
The J-man died by being "hung on a tree (or cross)."
According to Torah, anyone who is hung on a tree is "cursed of Hashem," not blessed (Deuteronomy 21:23).
Faith in the death of a Jew certainly does not bring blessing either, even if he did so happen to raise from the grave, as the church scriptures say.
According to Genesis 12:1-3, anyone or any nation who blesses the Jewish people will be blessed and anyone who curses or harms a Jewish person will be cursed.
Thus, the way to blessing on all of the earth is to have Jewish people alive, even if it is just a single Jewish person in the whole world.
Conversely, the death of a Jewish person takes blessing off of the face of the earth. It is certainly not the way to "bless the earth with salvation."
The Miracles & Teachings
The church and church scriptures declare that J-man performed many miracles while he was alive. I was not there, so I obviously cannot verify nor deny this.
What I can do, however, is look at the stated miracles and compare them to Torah and the Tanakh and see if such actions are miracles, or if they violate Hashem's law. When comparing most of the miracles of J-man to Torah reveals that most of the miracles actually violate Torah. As such, if J-man did perform miracles, they were likely in the tune of the miracles of the Egyptian Magicians. Yes, they mimicked Hashem's miracles, but at a point the Egyptian Magicians could not do what only Hashem can do.
The raising of the Dead
In Torah, touching a dead body defiles a person and requires a specific cleansing ritual, which J-man never performed.
Without performing the cleansing ritual, Torah necessitates that he be cut off from the nation of Israel and the Jewish people forever (Numbers 19:13).
If J-man was "high priest," then even being in a room with a dead person would defile him and would make him disqualified to perform priestly duties and he must be cut off from Israel and the Jewish people forever (Leviticus 22:3-4).
Healing People with Leprosy
Touching a person with leprosy makes a person unclean and necessitates a cleansing ritual (Leviticus 13-15). J-man never performed this ritual.
To declare a leper clean, there is a period of isolation for at least 7 days and then the person must be reexamined by a priest to confirm that he is in fact clean. Then, if the person is clean, there are a litany of other cleansing rituals that must be performed before the final declaration of "clean" can be made (Leviticus 12-15).
The J-man never performed or called for any of these practices to be performed. He just declared "you are clean" without any verification or witness of the priesthood. According to Torah, such statement, then cannot be accepted as truth.
The Miracle of Wine
The first miracle of J-man was to turn water into an abundance of wine when the people at a wedding ran out of wine.
This "miracle" of abundant wine seems to fulfill the prophecy about the false prophet in Micah 2:6-11.
If we take into consideration the rest of Hashem's word, we learn that Hashem states that He (Hashem) is the source of Living Water, and His Torah the Tree of life. Breaking Torah indeed will turn water (truth of the Holy Scriptures) in to wine (the wrath of Hashem, which will be poured out in Hashem's chosen time), which ultimately will lead to death of the unrighteous.
J-man is called a Nazarine. Yes, he lived in Nazareth, but the name is likely referring to Numbers 6 and the Nazarite vow.
If so, drinking wine would disqualify all vows that he made to Hashem.
Also, if he took the Nazarite vow, his blood certainly could not "become wine," as that would be in direct conflict with the Nazarite vow.
J-man declares an Adulterous Woman clean
Again, J-man makes the proclamation without the priestly practices proscribed in Torah that allow a priest to make the determination of cleanliness (Numbers 5:11-31).
Such a declaration, then, is nothing more than words.
J-man declares clean a woman with an issue of profuse bleeding for 12 years without the priestly practices of Torah that would allow him to make such a declaration.
Even is she stopped bleeding, there are a litany of laws that should have been followed according to Torah in order to make the declaration that she was clean (Leviticus 15).
In the church scriptures, J-men tells everyone to "sell all that they have and follow (him)".
This is not of Hashem.
When the real Moshiach comes, people will not have to give up or lack anything. Abundance will so fill the earth that people will be able to come, eat, drink, and buy without money (Isaiah 55:1-3).
The wealth of the Jews will be restored (Deuteronomy 30:3-13).
All that has been stolen will be recovered (Joel 2:25-27, Zechariah 9:12-17; Isaiah 61:4-9).
J-man "expounded on Torah," rather, he added extra layers to it.
For example, when talking about Hashem's law to not commit adultery, J-man added, "If you look a woman with lust, you have committed the sin of adultery."
He (or one of his disciples) also says that, "If you fail to keep one law, you have failed to keep them all," which is simply categorically not true according to Torah.
J-man says no one needs to follow Kosher laws because "it is not what goes into your body that makes you unclean, but what comes out of it."
J-man says you do not need to follow the commands about washing before meals.
This law is given for priests, mainly in the temple.
J-man is considered to be "The High Priest" in the church system, so at the very least, he should not have disqualified himself in the matter.
J-man mocked the tithes of herbs, which is part of the commanded portion for the Levites of ALL produce and grain of any harvest in Israel.
These additions break Torah, which says that nothing should be added to or taken away from Torah (Deuteronomy 4:1-2).
His disciples say circumcision is not needed in order to receive salvation.
Genesis 17: circumcision is the mark that denotes a male belongs to Hashem and is marked out for Hashem's blessing.
Yes, this does extend to the people who descended from Ishmael (who were circumcised with Abram) on the earthly realm.
Since they were born of Abraham, the earthly blessing made to Hagar stands. Just as Hashem will never revoke a promise to the Jews, so Hashem will never revoke any other promise He has made.
The blessing of Ishmael is earthly, not eternal. It is for land alone, as a nation of "hunters".
Circumcision is an Eternal Covenant between Hashem and the Jewish people, which are the descendants of Issac.
To the Jewish people, circumcision is like a wedding vow that cannot be broken. This vow was the first of many which Hashem made with the Jewish people.
The Blessings of circumcision are extended to gentiles who unite themselves to Hashem through the Jewish faith and are circumcised (if male). Consider Exodus 12:48.
Considering Exodus 12:48: since believers in J-man do not need to be circumcised, they therefore would not be covered by the blood of the Passover Lamb.
Like the Egyptians, they would die, not live, in the Exodus. Hashem tells us in the Torah and Tanakh to remember the Exodus daily as if we were taken out of Egypt along with the Hebrews. If you are not covered by life (the blood of the Passover), you are consigned to death.
If there is no circumcision there is no Jewish people.
Without any Jewish people, there is no blessing on earth (Genesis 12:1-3), since ALL blessing extends from keeping Torah (Deuteronomy 7, 11, 27).
Torah was given to the Jewish people and no one else (Deuteronomy 4:7-8; Psalms 147:20).
J-man told his disciples it was ok to pick grain on Shabbat. J-man often worked other miracles on Shabbat as well.
Any work on Shabbat is against Torah.
Picking grain/harvesting is the one activity that Hashem has specifically commanded against on Shabbat (harvesting, plowing, sowing and reaping), in honor of remembering the freedom form harsh labor, which Hashem provided to the Jewish people through the Exodus (Exodus 34:21).
Gathering even the smallest morsel of manna was strictly prohibited on Shabbat (Exodus 16:26).
This prohibition extends to grain.
A man who gathered wood on Shabbat is killed in the Torah.
Such a story can be used to understand how picking grain is also prohibited (Numbers 15:32-36).
Picking grain on Shabbat would also mean that the disciples did not gather their food on Friday in a manner that ensured they had enough food to last through Shabbat. At whose behest?
Disciples of J-man are said to have "the Keys to the Kingdom" (of David and of Heaven).
This fulfills a prophecy in Isaiah 22 about a priest who is "given the keys," he has his kingdom stand firm for a time, but in the end the keys were given so that he would be "cut off forever".
Thus, holding such keys is not a blessing, but a curse.
In general, the J-man led people AWAY from Torah.
The church teaches that the Torah no longer is relevant for "believers" because it was fulfilled in the J-man.
Some sects teach that you must not sin, yet at the same time tell the congregants they do not have to follow Torah.
Not keeping Torah is a huge problem according to Hashem, who states that destruction, disaster, and punishment comes when a person does not keep His laws. (Leviticus 26:14-46).
Anyone who leads people away from Torah leads people away from Hashem and all blessing.
The Virgin Birth: The Connection to Nephalim, if True
While J-man can be declared Jewish because his mother, Mary, was Jewish, other aspects of J-man's genetic makeup are unclear. There are non-religious texts that claim Mary had an extramarital affair with a Roman soldier named Tiberius Julius Abdes Pantera. While having an extra marital affair is certainly a sin, having a Roman (not Jewish) father might be less problematic than what the church and church scriptures claim about the father of the J-man.
According to the church scriptures, J-man did not have an earthly, human father. Instead, the church claims that J-man's father was some spirit from the heavenly realm. As stated above, if the virgin birth did really happen, then the spirit who impregnated Mary could not have been Hashem, lest Hashem break His own Torah by uncovering the nakedness of His own daughter, which Hashem would never do.
Problematic Considerations of J-man's Paternity Figure
If J-man had the Roman as his biological father, then his lineage cannot be traced to the house of David, which disqualifies J-man as Moshiach.
But, if the virgin birth were true, then the impregnation of Mary and the birth of the J-man becomes even more problematic. Without an earthly father, J-man's lineage cannot be traced to the house of David, but also, with a spirit as a father and an earthly mother, J-man's lineage would most resemble the Nephalim in Genesis 6.
The Nephalim were a race of giants created when the fallen angels had intercourse with the women of men. The children born by this unholy and unnatural union formed a race of people so heinous that Hashem sent the flood on the earth. Out of everything on earth, these Nephalim were the only thing to survive after the flood (save what was on the Ark). The book of Enoch (which is not in the Tanakh) makes clear the fallen angels are the ones who leave their station in heaven and have relations with women on earth.
This survival means that they could have died, and been risen from the dead, or it could mean that they never died to begin with. Either way, we know they survived the flood because it is this race whom the Israelites are terrified of when Moshe sends them out to scout out the promised land (Numbers and Deuteronomy).
When you read the church scriptures, the description of the birth of the J-man goes something like: a spirit of god came upon Mary and 9 months later she had J-man. Again, the spirit could not Hashem, as the church declares. As mentioned above, if it were, Hashem would violate His own Torah, which He would never do.
So, the other types of spirits left are from the heavenly realm, but are not G-d: angels and fallen angels. We are able to best determine the type of spirit who came upon Mary by reading the texts of the church. Reading through the church scriptures makes clear that J-man was well known by the demonic spirits. In fact, of everyone (or everything) on earth, the only ones who ever recognized J-man by name were the "unclean spirits". This fact is alarming, and should raise the warning flags!
If we correlate the claims of the church about J-man to the above facts from Torah in Genesis 6, we can understand then that like the Nephalim, if J-man had a spirit father and human mother, then J-man would be half immortal (from the spirit) and half mortal (from Mary). Only in this light and context of Torah truth can we understand how J-man could die and then rise from the grave again, as the church claims. Some sects of the church also claim that J-man never really died, but simply fell asleep.
To be clear, yes, the Torah does state that when the real Moshiach comes, all of the Jews who have died throughout history will be brought back to life. But, the difference between the truth about the resurrection of all Jewish people and what occurs with the Nephalim is vastly different.
Ezekiel 37 gives an account of how Hashem makes dry bones come to life. It is clear that there is a great amount of decay. These bones of the Jewish people are the remnants of a long decomposed body, which occurs in the process of natural death and prolonged periods of burial. When Moshiach comes, it will truly be miraculous because Hashem will reform sinew, marrow, and give life to the dry bones of His people. These bodies will be rebuilt to match those bodies that each person had when they were alive previously.
This resurrection of the dead by Hashem's hand is vastly different from the account of the claimed miracle of J-man rising from the dead. The church scriptures state that he was only in the grave for 3 days, but other scriptures say that J-man had come out of the grave prior to the three day period.
This means that he either did not die (like the Nephalim), or if he did die, the immortal spirit that was in him did not allow him to stay dead (much like Nephalim as well). Thus, this death and resurrection does not accord with the account of resurrection given in Ezekiel.
Further, when J-man arose from the grave, his body was evidently so different that no one recognized him, which is against the Tanakh and the promises Hashem has made regarding Moshiach and what will happen at his coming.
The Days of Noah & The Connection to J-man
Further, it is taught in the church that when a person comes to faith in the J-man, the person must die spiritually and then they are reborn. When they are "reborn" they too are filled with this spirit of J-man.
This "death and rebirth" is supposed to be the fulfillment of Ezekiel-like passages, but again careful consideration of Hashem's text proves how misleading the churches twist on the Tanakh really is.
Hashem does promise that when Moshiach comes, the Jewish people will be filled with the spirit of Hashem. But, this filling of Hashem's spirit will come not by some foreign spirit entering into the Jewish people. Rather, the filling of Hashem's spirit will come from the expansion of the internal small spark of Hashem that every person on earth is born with since we are all made in the image of Hashem.
This expansion of the internal spark of G-dliness will grow into a holy flame of mitzvot keeping as Moshiach expounds Torah, and all people will not only learn, but simply know how to rightly keep Torah and thus rightly serve Hashem with our lives. (Ezekiel 36).
In contrast, the body of spirit-filled humans formed by the church does not fit this biblical truth. Instead, since the spirit comes from the outside, into the person, this describes (again, unfortunately) how the Nephalim where born, not what is promised when Moshiach comes.
When I was in the church, the spiritual death and resurrection sounded all well and good to my ears, until the horrors of my story (in the About section) started unfolding. The horrors of my story were the precise catalyst that made me question everything I was being told was true. When I would try to defend not only myself, but more importantly Hashem's Tanakh, the abuse got worse and worse and always came with the common beliefs that:
followers of J-man do not need to keep Torah, and
If followers of J-man sinned, they were forgiven because of the "blood of J-man".
These beliefs within the church system of not having to follow Torah and not having to take accountability nor pay restitution or make atonement (in accordance with Torah) are the precise grounds upon which more sin is bread throughout the earth--the precise breeding ground for a repeat of Genesis 6. For, thinking that some spirit will do (or has done) every mitzvot for you leads many to sin and not care. This overt sinning has made the world much like "the days of Noah" with sin increasing evermore day by day.
Too, this notion of believers dying spiritually means that any Jewish person who comes to faith in the J-man are called to die to Judaism and be reborn in a different class of people.
Thus, J-man cannot be the Moshiach, because the death of a Jew cannot save another Jew. Instead the death of the Jew takes blessing off the earth and brings desolation and destruction, which will eventually lead to a repeat of the days of Noah, Hashem's wrath, and final Judgement Day (which, by the way, will mainly be a judgement on the basis of how you (or a nation) treated Israel, the Jewish nation, and the Jewish people (Joel 3:1; Amos 2:16)).
Faith in The J-man May be For You, But It Is Not For the Jew
I will never tell anyone not to believe in J-man (or any other god for that matter), just as I would ask that no one try to convert me into believing in the J-man or any other god besides Hashem.
For, faith in J-man or another god may be for you, however, for the Jewish person, faith in the J-man (or any other god besides Hashem) is not for us. Indeed, the Jewish community cannot believe in any other G-d but Hashem--the Neshamah (or our Jewish soul) will not allow it. Thus, Jews will always come back to Hashem, The One True G-d, The G-d of Israel, even if we stray for a while in the pastures of false gods.
Hashem does not deny that other gods exist. In fact, Hashem says that He has created other gods and has "allotted the false gods (or idols) to other people everywhere under heaven." But, Hashem says, "You (the Jewish people) Hashem took and brought out of Egypt, that iron blast furnace, to be His very own people, as is now the case." (Deuteronomy 4:19-20).
These other gods are identifiable by their ability to have a form made of them: of an animal, a human, or any other earthly form for that matter, whereas Hashem "has no shape". And since Hashem, the G-d of Israel has no shape, Torah commands that we not bow to any god who has a shape and thus of whom an image can be made. The J-man has a shape, or form: the human form. Thus, faith in him is not for the Jew. (Deuteronomy 4:15-19)
Yet, while faith in false gods is prohibited by Tora, for a time, Hashem may even allot those false gods to some of His Jewish people according to His own purposes. But, in the end, every knee will bow to Hashem as His scriptures declare:
4 לְמַ֙עַן֙ עַבְדִּ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּחִירִ֑י וָאֶקְרָ֤א לְךָ֙ בִּשְׁמֶ֔ךָ אֲכַנְּךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽנִי׃
For the sake of My servant Jacob,
Israel My chosen one,
I call you by name,
I hail you by title, though you have not known Me.
I am GOD (HASHEM) and there is none else;
Beside Me, there is no god.
I engird you, though you have not known Me,
So that they may know, from east to west,
That there is none but Me.
I am GOD (HASHEM) and there is none else,
7 יוֹצֵ֥ר אוֹר֙ וּבוֹרֵ֣א חֹ֔שֶׁךְ עֹשֶׂ֥ה שָׁל֖וֹם וּב֣וֹרֵא רָ֑ע אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה עֹשֶׂ֥ה כׇל־אֵֽלֶּה׃ {פ}
I form light and create darkness,
I make weal and create woe—
I GOD (HASHEM) do all these things....
Thus said GOD (HASHEM) :
Egypt’s wealth and Cush’s gains
And Sabaites, long of limb,
Shall pass over to you and be yours,
Pass over and follow you in fetters,
Bow low to you
And reverently address you:
“Only among you is God (HASHEM),
There is no other god at all!
You are indeed a God who hides in concealment,
O God of Israel (HASHEM), who brings victory!
Those who fabricate idols—
All are shamed and disgraced;
They slink away in disgrace together.
17 יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נוֹשַׁ֣ע בַּֽיהֹוָ֔ה תְּשׁוּעַ֖ת עוֹלָמִ֑ים לֹא־תֵבֹ֥שׁוּ וְלֹא־תִכָּלְמ֖וּ עַד־ע֥וֹלְמֵי עַֽד׃ {פ}
But Israel has won through GOD (HASHEM)
Triumph everlasting.
You shall not be shamed or disgraced
In all the ages to come!”
For thus said GOD (HASHEM),
The Creator of heaven who alone is God,
Who formed the earth and made it,
Who alone established it—
Who did not create it a waste,
But formed it for habitation:
I am GOD (HASHEM), and there is none else.
I did not speak in secret,
At a site in a land of darkness;
I did not say to the stock of Jacob,
“Seek Me out in a wasteland”—
I GOD (HASHEM), who foretell reliably,
Who announce what is true.
Come, gather together,
Draw nigh, you remnants of the nations!
No foreknowledge had they who carry their wooden images
And pray to a god who cannot give success.
Speak up, compare testimony—
Let them even take counsel together!
Who announced this aforetime,
Foretold it of old?
Was it not I the ETERNAL One?
Then there is no god beside Me,
No God exists beside Me
Who foretells truly and grants success.
Turn to Me and gain success,
All the ends of earth!
For I am God, and there is none else.
By Myself have I sworn,
From My mouth has issued truth,
A word that shall not turn back:
To Me every knee shall bend,
Every tongue swear loyalty.
They shall say: “Only through GOD (HASHEM)
Can I find victory and might.
When people trust in [God] (HASHEM),
All their adversaries are put to shame.
It is through GOD (HASHEM) that all the offspring of Israel
Have vindication and glory.”
