Since Hashem’s will was to be present with His Jewish people, one of the commandments given to Moshe on Mount Sinai was for Moshe and the rest of the Israelites to build a Tabernacle and an Ark. The Ark is the place where Hashem would come and meet with Moshe. The Ark of the Covenant (or Pact) was to be housed in the Holy of Holies in a Tabernacle that Moshe and the Israelites would construct. One of my most favorite places that I visited in Israel during my 2023 trip just happened to be the wilderness at Timna Park, which is found in the south-eastern part of Israel. While our Jewish ancestors traveled in the wilderness on the east side of many of the mountain ranges that are at Timna, one can really get a sense of what the 40 year wilderness wandering after the Exodus must have been like.

Hashem created man from dust, meaning as "Negev-land." Translated, this means "without a brideprice." Passages in Joshua and Hosea clarify that Hashem will pay the brideprice for the Jewish People. In this study we examine the meaning and uncover vast depths of Hashem's mercy, love, grace, and eternal plan for His beloved: the Jewish People and Jewish Nation of Israel.

The Jordan River is the place where the Jewish Israelites crossed over from the wilderness into our Promised Land, thereby beginning the process of establishing the firstfruit Jewish Nation for the frirstfruit Jewish people of Hashem.

In the formation of Adam and Havah at the outset of creation, Hashem appears to have painted the perfect picture of His eventual union with His chosen Jewish People. Like a bride and bridegroom, we will one day become inseparable from Hashem. As the "bone of Hashem's bone and flesh of Hashem's flesh," one day when moshiach arrives and restores humanity, we (the Jewish people) will take on His holy likeness, not just His image!

In the darkest of valleys, Hashem will hear the cry of His beloved Jewish Israelites. This poem of praise is cry for Hashem's help in the middle of harrowing times.

Throughout history, there has been much debate over the legitimacy of the Exodus of the Jewish people as well as hot debate about the real location of Mount Sinai. In this post, I share some insight that I gained while on my trip in Israel in 2023.

The goal of today’s lesson is to discover what Hashem's first order of business was in creation. Specifically we will study what it meant for Him to separate the light from the darkness, which is distinctly different than the creation of light in darkness on Day 4 of creation.
